About Us

 

Vail's Automotive originally opened March 15, 2004 in the Downtown area of Oswego. Vail's Automotive moved to the current location in 2008.

 

Both Matt and his wife Fern are both Labette County residents. Matt attended Edna Grade School and his wife Fern is from Labette City. They both graduated from Labette County High School.

Matt graduated from Longview Community College in Lee's Summit with a General Motors Program Associates Degree. He graduated top in his class with four awards.

 

He worked at R&S Chevrolet, Cadillac in Joplin for six years. Then he decided to venture out on his own.

 

Vail's Automotive has a great deal of experience in automatic transmission repair and light truck diesels. The shop has the latest in diagnostic and technology equipment for all makes of vehicles. Matt is at the advanced level of engine performance in the Automotive Certified Service Excellence. (ASE)
